Legal Compliance Instructions
There is no one-size fits all when it comes to seeking records from VASPs. All US based exchanges require service of a subpoena. Some international exchanges willingly cooperate with law enforcement authorities with an official request on department letterhead. Identify your VASP below for additional instructions, then use the language in the provided templates to get the records you need.
